Silverlake Flea Market Finds
I have been dying to check out the Silverlake Flea Market. My roommates and I finally had the opportunity to go last weekend, and let me tell you - it did not disappoint. The venue was the perfect, digestible size and allowed for complete exploration of the entire market. I find that places like Melrose Trading Post become overwhelming and discourage me from truly taking the time to look through all of the items. Go check this out if you are looking for a beginner-friendly option!
Luckily, the prices here were incredible. Every vendor was extremely reasonable and open to a little negotiation. Captivated by the racks of truly vintage clothes with remarkable prints and fabrics, I ended up walking out with three pairs of pants and haven’t taken them off since. The first two pairs are orange-tag vintage Levi’s and these Vietnam-era military pants- SCORE! Loose pants have been my go-to recently because who wants to be uncomfortable and restricted while working from home? Not me.
Last but not least, my absolute favorites! I was so excited when I found these vintage 501 Levi’s covered in patches. The previous owner wore them in perfectly and they have been in constant rotation since entering my closet.
