Mom Jeans!

We all know the go-to thrifted gem is the perfect "mom jean"- high waisted, tailored leg, cuffed bottom. They are perfect to throw on with a cute crop top and some sneakers for a casual hang with your best friend or they can be dressed up with a classy top and some heels for a gorgeous night out.

These acid wash gems were $7 at my local Goodwill. A company had donated several pairs and my friends and I all walked out with matching jeans. Keep in mind that companies sometimes donate clothes that they couldn't sell, so it's common to find brand new pieces for a fraction of the price. I paired these with thrifted Nike's and a crop top from American Apparel. 

The fit! The wash! The everything! Mom jeans look absolutely incredible on everyone: curvy, petite, tall, thin – they accentuate the best of your body. Although it may seem impossible to find YOUR jeans, I promise if you keep looking at your favorite second hand shops or even look on resell sights such as Poshmark or Depop you will find a pair that make you feel like millions!

These pants are the epitome of a makeover. I bought them because they were Levi's but didn't dig the fit and there was nothing special about the wash. I decided to give them a little makeover by embroidering my name onto the back pocket and I now love them!

Remember: clothes should be worn YOUR way. So...if you find something you love but something isn't just right, dye it, cut it, or embellish it to make it YOU!
